  • Ensure parents are engaged and always have a seat at the table. Education is a team effort and parents are key players. When parents are involved, students succeed.

  • Support our teachers. They are the school district's biggest asset and they are the ones who are in the classrooms with our students, day in and day out, doing challenging and amazing work.

  • To stretch every dollar in our budget to get maximum benefit in the classroom and for our taxpayers.

  • Legislation shapes, and often times, burdens schools. We will continue to track legislation that impacts our schools and be a strong voice for our schools and families.

  • College isn’t the only ticket to success and our community needs graduates for all careers. We’ll continue to push for vocational, trades and workforce readiness. High school should prepare students for life--not just tests..
